MILK
Milk is fucking disgusting. I mean, think of it in a logical way; take yourself out of your human body for a moment and truly think about it. Why would someone want to drink a fatty white substance that comes from a bovines utter? This fat creature that (used to) walk around eating grass all day, unable to protect itself from any type of predator with a big fat boob that hangs between it's legs with 4 nipples that produces this thick white goop that only a calf drinks.
Now let's go even further to our modern day situation. Cow's nowadays are stuffed full of grain while standing on enormous rotating skids that mechanically remove the milk from the utters and ship them off to the masses after being pasteurized or homogenized so that they can sit inside the fridges of grocery stores for an extra couple of weeks. You drink that. Yeah, you! I bet you had it at least 5-6 different ways in your food yesterday. From the milk in your cereal bowl to the cheese on your burger to the ice cream you had for dessert.
In my mind it is just utterly (haha get it) senseless to drink this stuff religiously on a day-to-day basis and our current modern day solutions to supplying it to the masses is getting extremely out of hand. Yet, we are told from a very young age that milk is a good drink to have before bed to help us sleep, and we should also be drinking about 3 glasses of milk a day (all supported by dairy manufacturers) to help build strong bones.
I grew up KNOWING, not thinking, that milk was natures godsend. In my mind, as a child, I was supposed to be drinking as much milk as I got because of all the benefits being hurled at my face by media. I KNEW that milk help build strong bones because of all the calcium it contained. I KNEW that it would help me build muscle from all the protein especially after a workout. I KNEW that milk was a good way to help you sleep at night. Unfortunately all these things in which I thought I KNEW were merely things that had been propagandized into my mind by the government and the milk industry to make me believe I was educated.
Due to the cutting out of most milk products from my diet about a year ago I can say my life has increased exponentially. I have researched and learned a lot of things about milk that has caused me to reduce my weekly intake to about 1-2 portions. I don't get fatigued after meals. I don't feel sick to my stomach after a big meal. I don't get nasty farts. Fuck milk.
What I now KNOW is that milk is delicious. I do enjoy it from time to time even though I can't succumb to imagining what I am ingesting into my body. I KNOW that milk is high in calcium and protein but as long as you have a balanced diet, there are more than plenty of things to supplement into your diet that is much more rich in nutrients and also more filling (such as kale, spinich, chicken....).
I KNOW that modern day cows are pumped up with Bovine Growth Hormone. I KNOW that cows are being fed grain (and sometimes other cows [MAD COW]). I KNOW that cows are no longer free range.
I KNOW that no mammals drink milk after infancy. I KNOW that there are more than 50 million people are lactose intolerant. I KNOW that this high amount of milk consumption is something that has only been created in the last 500 years along side so many mental/physical health and obesity problems, could this be a result? I KNOW that there are almost no way you will find anything supporting milk products that doesn't lead back to either the government or the milk industry. Would you trust mcdonalds telling you a big mac is healthy?
From this point on in a typical article you would find a bunch of useful facts and links to back up my statements but that's not what I do. I took the time to learn and research this so if you don't believe me then well go find the information for yourself. My articles aren't here to tell you how to live your life, they are only here to show you that there are other ways to do it and a different perspective to look at the world from.
