Acne, Cheat Days & Hormones
After 4-5 days of clean healthy eating and optimizing my life factors in an attempt to naturally raise my Growth Hormone levels I am already seeing, feeling and smelling improvements in my body.
Last night I decided to have a mild cheat day with some chocolate bars and not even 12 hours later I am breaking out. Along with that my sleep was HORRIBLE last night.
Food is VERY important BUT I believe having a cheat day every once in a while is good and important for the body. Although my body is displaying the signs of hormonal depletion I don't believe it will affect me long term unless I were to continue this lifestyle over an extended period of time (3-5 days).
Your body gives you signs when things are changing, when hormones are fluctuating.
Now, these changes will be completely different from male to female but being aware of these suttle changes in your body will help you to understand how you are progressing upon your journey!
Moral Of This Post:
One or two days of shitty eating or sacrificing your hormones may show immediate hormonal sings in the body but your base hormonal output takes several days-week to adapt and change.
Don't worry about rest and cheat days.
You can easily bounce back, just don't make it long term......
