Have doubts about the Carnivore Diet?
Have any questions about Vitamin C, Fiber and if this diet is actually 'healthy'?
No matter what diet you're on, whether it's 'balanced' or even plant-based, I really recommend reading this book by Dr. Shawn Baker!
It's an easy read, very informative and he breaks down ALL sides of things from anecdotal experiences with long-term carnivores to all the propagated ideas on what vitamins/minerals/nutrients our bodies need and why we believe that and he also dives into how most of our nutritional studies are extremely WEAK in nature to draw any long term conclusions in regards to disease prevention and life longevity!
For my 100 Day Experiment I will not be diving into the 'science' or trying to justify the diet because the information is in this book waiting to answer YOUR questions/fears/propagated perspectives on whether or not this is a 'healthy', sustainable, long term diet to implement into your life!
Ignorance can be bliss but if you truly want to make a change to your life and be in control of your body/mind/ hormones/lifestyle you need to INFORM YOURSELF with as much information as you can rather than being controlled by other people's dogmatic principles who most likely haven't experienced/experimented with it for themselves!
As you may know by Wednesday I began this diet which I will be openly and honestly sharing my experiences with it over the next 100 days here on Instagram and YouTube so follow along the Journey but if you're questioning it or doubting it I really suggest picking up this book and informing yourself because I will not be 'defending' this diet.
